Method
- 01
Start by lining a 8x8 baking dish with some tin foil and spraying it with none stick spray. Set this aside.
- 02
To a sauce pan over medium - high heat, add in your sugar and water. Mix this until the sugar mostly dissolves then let simmer until it reaches 310℉ and has a light amber color. (5-8 minutes)
- 03
Mix in your condensed milk, baking powder, salt and butter. This will bubble up so make sure you're using a long utensil to mix so you don't get burned.
- 04
Once it's fully mixed add in your peanuts and quickly mix them in and transfer them to your prepared baking dish. You want do this as fast as possible as the mixture will rapidly cool down and solidify.
- 05
Once your transfer your mixture to the baking dish push it flat as it cools with a silicone spatula. Let this cool for 4 hours completely before breaking it up by hand and enjoying!
