Method
- 01
Start by pre heating your oven to 200 degrees. Cut your bread into small little cubes and place on a baking sheet and place them in the oven at 200 for 45 minutes - 1 hour. This will allow your bread to get dried out so it absorbs all that flavor!
- 02
Whilst your bread is drying out add your butter to a large pan, melt it down then follow in with your onion and celery and saute it until it’s fully wilted. (4-7 minutes).
- 03
When your bread is done drying out, add it to a large bowl with your butter, onions, celery & fresh herbs and mix well.
- 04
In a measuring cup add your 2 cups of chicken broth and 2 eggs and then pour it over your bread slowly whilst mixing. You want to get the bread nice and damp but not soaking wet, you may not need all the liquid.
- 05
Bump the oven heat to 350 & Transfer this mixture to a greased 9x13 baking dish and cover it with tin foil and bake in the oven for 45 minutes. Remove the tin foil cover and bake for another 25 minutes. Enjoy!
