№ 01Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel from Settings — your plan stays active through the end of the billing period, then you drop to Free with all your recipes intact. No win-back emails. No friction.

№ 02What happens to my data if I downgrade?

Every recipe, plan, cookbook, and pantry item is preserved. You just lose access to premium features and your monthly limits reset to Free. Re-upgrade and everything's exactly where you left it.

№ 03Can I switch between plans?

Absolutely. Upgrade to Chef in the middle of the month, swap back to Home Cook when you need to. Changes take effect immediately and billing prorates automatically.

№ 04Is there a free trial of the paid tiers?

No. The Free tier is the trial — and there's no clock on it. Stay Free as long as the platform suits you; upgrade only when you outgrow the limits. We'd rather you decide on features than countdowns.

№ 05Does the household plan need separate accounts?

Each household member gets their own account with their own dietary profile and allergens. Recipes, plans, lists, and pantry sync across the household in real time. The owner pays; everyone else uses the platform on the owner's seat allotment.

№ 06What's the difference between Home Cook and Chef?

Home Cook is the full platform with monthly AI limits — most kitchens never hit them. Chef removes every limit and adds the creator bundle: a partner blog, AI-distilled custom voice, and the ability to point your own domain at your kitchen.

№ 07Do I keep my recipes if I cancel entirely?

Yes. Your account stays as Free indefinitely with everything you created. We don't delete recipes when you cancel — and you can export your library to JSON anytime from Settings.
